I also went to the Las Vegas bowl with a girl in my ward. It was thrilling and BYU got lucky and won!
Our ward had a fun activity called North Star Night Out. We went to a fireside, ice skating, to a place called Sky Mania with a giant trampoline park, and then to breakfast.

Trips to Utah
Then I was up again the first weekend of December. We had a mini reunion to see Emily, David and the twins. It was a lot of fun. I also got to see Amber again and she did my hair for Christmas.

Mexico Orphanage Trip
I went this weekend on a trip to Ensenada. I went with an organization called Kaiizen. We left Thursday evening. We spent time on the beach, went to the pool with the kids, and spent two days working improvements on the orphanage and playing with the kids. It was a great, fulfilling adventure. We roughed it. We camped everynight, and had to put up and take down the tents daily. We didn't have showers or nice bathrooms. Two of the nights we camped on the beach, one night next to the orphanage.
There were over 100 of us, but we split up into 2 groups to go to 2 different orphanages. There were three groups of volunteers, from Provo, San Diego, and Vegas. Here are some of the fun moments.

Idaho
I went up to Boise right before the reunion. Everyone in Vegas seriously questioned why I was going to Idaho. My two best friends from my time at BYU live there. I met Jen, otherwise known as "sister" my very first day in Provo at my freshman orientation Y-group. Her and her sister Shannon lived exactly two stories up. They also know our cousin Shirley, who was in our ward. Jen was there two years, and came to Belgium with me in 95 and we traveled 7 countries. Then she got married to her high school sweetheart who had returned from his mission. They have 2 kids. Shannon was there my whole 3 years in that ward before my mission. We were roommates the year Jen left.
I have been up there for sister's wedding and to visit, back before Olivia was born. She is 6 now! I had fun visiting. I was compelled to by 2 Boise State shirts, since they were 13-0 last year, and I am planning on going back for a football game with them this fall. Jen's girls cried for hours after I left! It was fun reliving some of the fun years of my life and reconnecting with old friends!

ROAD TRIP!!!
So my roommie Tristin and I like to random, spontaneous things. So one Sunday on a three day weekend, her "friend" was in Gunnison, Utah with his brother, wanting to come back to Vegas but stuck there. So after Ward Prayer, Tristin, her visiting from Logan sister, a friend Dennis, and I took off. But we didn't just drive, we decided somehow....to do it in fun outfits. We made some fun random stops. Check us out....
